Chapter 91-100
I Want a Divorce Chapter 91-Scapegoat Kevin was about to say something, but Abigail asked, âBetween you asking for his help and you. giving me the meds, has your phone ever left your sight?â Victor mused over it. A moment later, he said, âDamian gave me a glass of water when he was taking my size. He chatted with me for a bit after I drank the water, and then I took a nap.â Kevin licked his lips. âWho knows what you did in that room? He wouldnât admit to creating this chat history to scapegoat you.â A pause later, Kevin grinned.
âAnd what good does that bring to him?â
Luna raised her hand. âOf course there is. If he ruins my assistantâs reputation, then my reputation gets ruined as well. He wasnât going after Victor. Victorâs just the cannon fodder in this war. His target was and is still me. And my assistant.â âThereâs no proof of that. You believe his conjecture?â Kevin licked his lips. He had a smile on his face, but the look in his eyes was icy.
Abigail said, âThere is proof. Your production team doesnât have the meds he wanted. Mustâve been bought online and delivered here. You can find that out, canât you?â Kevin looked at Abigail and smiled. âFine, Iâll look into it for you, but Iâll have to tell Mr. Graham.â He took his phone out and called Sean.
Victor was kneeling on the ground. His face was drenched in sweat, and he was shaking uncontrollably. Abigail looked at him silently.
Kevinâs call made it through. He said loudly, âMr. Graham, weâll have to investigate the evidence we have. Ms. Quinn wants the suspect to remain in the production team.â Abigail pursed her lips. Thatâs our goal, but you couldâve made it subtler.
Kevin held his phone away from his ear. Sean said coolly, âWhat investigation?
