“Why don’t you go upstairs and see if Yasmine is in her room?” Ivor’s eyes grew dark.

Floyd wiped his mouth and said, “Alright, Mr. Ivor. I’m on it.” He went upstairs, looking for Yasmine.

A couple of minutes later, he came down again and ran over to Ivor hurriedly.

“Ms. Yasmine’s door was open, so I went inside and saw a note on her table.”

Ivor heard what he said, and his frown grew deeper.
