“You’ve been quiet.” Daniel pointed out as he sat there, wiping his wet strands of hair with a small towel.

Naomi was lying down, facing the other way while clutching her hands to her chest. However, her eyes snapped open when she heard his words.

“I’m trying to sleep.” She mumbled, not bothering to turn to him.

“Something’s bothering you. Spill.” He demanded with a small frown.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

He sighed.

“Is it about the elders?”
