A pack warrior came to check up on the two, and found Koan holding a frail woman to his chest.

“Get us out of here, now.” Koan ordered and with with fidgeting fingers, the warrior rushed to open the lock, pulling open the cell gates.

“Can you walk?” Koan softly asked, and Nancy nods, quickly standing, avoiding his eyes.

She left, walking ahead of him without his help to find her friends and father, well aware of who the Kitsunes target was right now.

Koan barely acknowledge the warrior as he skidded past the gates, running after Nancy.
