Chapter 1

"I’m 6. You still treat me like a baby!" The boy stubbornly remarked, a dead pan expression on his face.

The blood running down his nose was unnoticed because she was occupied with wiping the one running down the side of his arm.

He winced at the sting of the hydrogen peroxide against his open flesh and backed away.

"Sit still, would you," She hissed at him.

"I’m 11. That makes me older; so you have to listen to me."

"You made me look so stupid out there. You know he started the fight and you just let him go." He pouted.

She ignored him, sighed when she noticed the blood running down his nose, and pushed the wet napkin up his face, scrubbing hard.

Daniel pushed it away irritably, but she was done and proceeded to pack up the things back into the first aid box.

"This is the second time this week you’re getting into a fight." She pointed out, leaning down to be of his height.

When he didn’t speak, she continued.

"Alpha Damien would like to speak to you later in the evening. One more fight and he’s sending you away to another pack."

The boy fell speechless.

"Dad’s abandoning me?"

"No. He’s sending you to the Moon Howler’s Pack. His best friend’s the Alpha there so he’ll take you under his wings and ensure you’re well taken care of and taught some manners while you’re there."

"But I don’t want to leave the Dark Risers’s pack. It’s been my home ever since! Daddy’s so cruel."

"Then maybe you shouldn’t get into trouble anymore." The girl quietly remarked and made to leave, but he held her from behind, hugging her waist with his small hands which didn’t make any improvement of wrapping around her legs.

Naomi blinked in surprise before turning around, but he still didn’t let go of her.

"If Dad makes me go away, does that mean I won’t see you again?"

She sighed.

"I suppose so Daniel."

"But you’re my best friend. We’ll go together." He demanded in his cute babish voice.

She sighed helplessly again and hid a pained smile.

She would be devastated at the thought of him going away, but could she defy the Alpha’s orders and risk her head?

"Daniel," She called softly, leaning down again so that they were face to face; of the same height. She rubbed the thick mass of black curls on his head, ruffling it with a forced smile. "Remember, you’re on probation. He’s giving you one last chance, okay? Just don’t get into any more trouble, and you can stay here. Would you do that for me?"

He nodded without a thought and she smiled again, reaching up to place a kiss on his cheek.

She tucked him in bed and left, shutting the door behind her before exhaling.

As she made her way to the kitchen to finish up with her duties of washing the dirty dishes, she stumbled on the head Omega.

Annaliese.

Just the name could bring a bad taste in her mouth.

She was the most unbearable and most obnoxious person to ever encounter, and it was bad enough she was working in the Alpha’s mansion with her, Annaliese was suddenly made Head Omega by the Beta who she was obviously indulged in an affair with.

It didn’t go unnoticed by the other Omegas but they dared not say a word about it.

Naomi of course was the youngest Omega in the Alpha’s mansion, and was too innocent and naïve to have understood why she was given a higher position despite her unruly behavior.

"And where did you crawl out from?" Anna demanded, her head lifted high like she was the master around, a look of disdain in her eyes as she looked at the pretty girl before her

Her heart almost wrenched out in jealousy and still did whenever she saw Naomi who was so far the most beautiful she-wolf she had ever set her eyes on.

Anna who wasn’t used to being oppressed with beauty hated her on first sight.

"I was tending to Daniel’s wounds." She simply replied, keeping her head down, not daring to face her- for fear of being punished again.

Anna nodded reluctantly.

Of course, they all knew the Alpha’s son was involved in a tedious fight with the Beta’s twins just moments ago.

"Well, those dishes aren’t going to wash themselves. The sooner you finish your work, the earlier you can go back to sleep and resume work again tomorrow."

Naomi bit her lip and nodded.

She made to walk past Anna but she moved left, voluntarily blocking her way.

She made sure no space was left between them as she leaned to whisper.

"Trying to crawl into the Alpha’s bed by using his son will only get you locked up in the dungeons. You are aware of that, aren’t you child?" Then she walked away with a sneer, leaving Naomi to stand there and process her words.

Of course, she couldn’t still make anything out of it and went off to wash the dishes.

Naomi made her way to her room which she shared with at least a dozen other Omegas.

Annalise slept on the third floor which was the Beta’s floor, but usually comes to sleep down here when the Beta’s wife was back from vacation, work and other necessary trips.

Her side of the room, specially chosen by Annaliese, was a damp area beneath the window. There was nothing much but for a scruffy old blanket with a greek key design, a bunch of her clothes substituted as a pillow and a small case which contained a few trinkets of hers.

Daniel had never been to this part of the mansion.

Even If he happened to see the state she was in, he’d be too naïve to understand why she was sleeping on the ground while he slept on a nice cozy bed.

She was careful to manoeuver her way around the room till she got to her ’bed’.

Her gold chestnut colored hair was pulled up in a messy bun, and she rubbed the bridge of her nose a few times before going to sleep.

And she saw herself in that weird dream again...

She had been having these dream- nightmares for a week now.

As an orphan with an 6-year old as a best friend and nobody to rely on, she kept them to herself.

She had planned on visiting a witch around to interpret the dream, or a Shaman.

But she didn’t have enough money to feed herself...

How could she possibly visit a Shaman.

And witches. They might ask for things in return like gold or some prized possession which she knew she didn’t have.

The only prized thing she had so far was her life.

In her nightmares, she was running,

She couldn’t tell if she was chasing someone or running from someone but she was running so fast, the trees in the forest looked like a blur to her.

She had blood all over her face and arms.

Was the blood hers or someone else’s?

That she didn’t know.

And each time she ran, she ran into a dead end in the dream, she would stop at the edge of a cliff and when she turned, someone would push her.

She couldn’t see the person clearly because it happened so fast, but she could tell it was a male only by looking into those deep metro blue eyes of his that held her sapphire blue orbs captive even as she fell to her death in the dream.

Then she’d wake up, panting and sweating buckets with a petrified look on her face.

This night was just the same as other nights, but she couldn’t go back to sleep this time. So she decided to head out to the garden.

Surprisingly, the scent of flowers and the feeling of the night breeze caressing her skin was such a wonderful experience for her; especially after nightmares like this.

So she put on her flip flops and headed out, not minding the cold.

Once she arrived, she sees a car pull up Infront of the mansion.

From the rose bushes, she spied.

Her mouth dropped at who she saw.

Marcy, along with her kids, Barton and Brittany all came out; loaded with suitcases and trunks.

Some Omegas were already outside ready to carry them in.

Beta Ray’s family?

What were they doing here?

They were sent back home today after the fight between the twins and Daniel.

Why were they back here?

Alpha Damien and Beta Ray weren’t in sight,

Did they know of this?

Normally she helped Anna when it comes to

relocating her things from the Beta’s floor back to the Omega floor when they learnt of Marcy’s announced visits, but with the sudden arrival, Anna had just re-moved in with the Beta.

She didn’t like Anna, but Beta Ray was a nice person and she didn’t want to get him in trouble, so she ran back into the mansion to alert him.

As she ran in, Marcy was already ordering the children to behave as their things werr being carried into the Mansion.

"The Alpha has graced us two more days here because of the Full moon festival tomorrow. Brittany, keep your brother away from Daniel. He’s the Alpha’s son. We shouldn’t go close to him like his father said. And we don’t want to get him into trouble either. He’s on probation now. The poor boy."

Brittany and Barton exchanged looks.

They were 13 years, but of course being given everything they wanted and spoilt from a little age, they tend to behave a little immature and naughty.

"Probation?" Barton asked innocently.

"Yes. One more trouble and he’ll be sent off to the Moon Howler’s pack."

"Forever?" Brittany chipped in.

Marcy sighed.

"You know how strict the Alpha is. I’m not so sure. But just to be clear... "

"Don’t make any trouble with Daniel." The twins finish up simultaneously.

"Good," Marcy smiled at them, ruffling their similar forest green colored hair before rising up. "Now let’s head inside. It’s quite late, so you’ll retire to bed after getting changed. We wouldn’t want to wake anyone up."

The twins nodded, and as Marcy turned around, she failed to notice the evil glint gleam in their similar honey colored eyes.

 

 

Chapter 2

He growled as he pumped into her, the level of his arousal so brutal that she was left to whimper like a mess underneath his bulk.

He doesn’t slow down, plundering her harder from behind, his hands holding onto her breasts— because they were bouncing hard against the wall at the effort of his heavy hard thrusts.

She cursed at the sweet pain she felt, but that didn’t denture her from meeting with his thrusts from behind by arching her back.

Her blonde hair was carelessly tossed over her neck while she blindly held the wall to support her sagging body.

Their ragged breaths filled the room as they moved faster and faster.

Annalise sighed, shamelessly turning to entwine her arms around his neck, quickly pressing her lips on the pulse on his neck, sliding her wet tongue against his throat, revealing to him that she wanted more.

His wolf growled obligingly in response to her body language and held her waist, lifting her so that her legs were entwined around his waist and her arms were placed firmly on his shoulders.

He kissed her all over her body with a vigorous passion, desire sparking all over her body in response to his kisses.

"Oh- Ray." She sighed, throwing her head back as his tongue did wonders to her skin- just below her neck.

Her hands weren’t idle.

She yanked and grabbed his hair and back with her claws sprouting from her fingers, sure enough that would leave marks in the morning.

They were still in the heat of the moment, about to have another round of mind blowing orgasm when the door flew open and in walked in Naomi, breathless.

At once, Anna instinctively hid under the arms of the Beta while he turned in time to see the little girl at the door, looking at them like she had seen the worst scene in her life.

To be honest, Naomi wasn’t expecting to walk into them like this at all.

Infact, she wouldn’t believe she’d ever come across such a lewd scene that made her eyes hurt.

She had thought Anna had her room up here and that was all.

The promotion, the special treatment...

Naomi had believed that the Beta was probably just too kind.

She didn’t know anything about pleasures of the flesh.

But she wasn’t stupid.

She knew two people (with one married!!) weren’t supposed to be stark naked and placed in an uncomfortable position in a room.

Her stomach twisted in different turns and angles, and she couldn’t warn Anna like she had planned.

The sight was all too embarrassing and sickening.

"F*CK" Ray cursed angrily. "Who are you?"

She couldn’t reply.

The next moment, she bent over and vomited.

Her body racked at the impact of the waste leaving her mouth to the floor, staining the rug.

Marcy’s children were staying downstairs on the second floor meant for guests.

She was on her way to her room when she noticed someone walk into one of the rooms, up on the Beta’s floor.

She was small, had a really petite figure.

Her hair was placed in messy bun and she couldn’t see her face properly so she had followed her.

"F*CK, Who are you?" She heard a familiar voice yell some minutes after the girl got in.

She couldn’t tell what caused her to swiftly move into the room at that moment.

The fact that she heard her husband’s voice, sounding annoyed and distressed or someone was puking thunder in the room.

What she saw knocked her senses out to the floor.

Just next to her, was the familiar small girl, bending over the ground, one hand on her head and the other on the wall, puking, while before her was the most shocking scene ever.

Her husband.

Beta of the Dark Risers pack was stark naked holding a naked she-wolf against the wall.

"Ray?" She called out in a hoarse whisper not sure if she wanted to see his face.

And there she saw it.

The look of surprise and shock in his sky blue eyes as he turned to her.

"Marcy?" He called out disbelievingly.

Marcy’s gaze moved to the gaze of the woman.

She and Anna locked eyes.

Marcy sneered.

"Dress up and get lost. Now!" The Beta mark had inculcated the aura of a Beta in her blood.

Using all her Beta acquired aura, she suppressed Anna, who bowed her head shamefully and put on her clothes.

She was so hasty, she wore them the wrong way.

As she made to leave, Marcy stopped her.

"Your name?"

Anna dared not look up.

"Annaliese" She replied In a trembling voice.

"Take her away and make sure she’s cared for" She was referring to Naomi who looked half dead on the wall.

Anna felt disgusted at that moment, but she was quick to carry her reluctantly; under the glare of Marcy, of course thinking of ways to deal with Naomi.

Once the door shut behind them, Ray was already dressed in his shorts.

Marcy folded her arms and they stared at each other for a while as If silently urging each other to speak first.

"I..." He finally wanted to talk.

"Shut up!!!" She yelled at him, the edge of her eyes tearing up.

They stayed silent again, the silence, uncomfortable.

"It’s barely been a day and I come back to find you screwing another she-wolf. An Omega, Ray!"

"Marcy just listen to me"

"What about those times I’m too busy to stay and I’m out for like days or weeks" She hid her face in her hands. "I feel so ashamed of myself. I feel like a fool. I feel like I’ve been used"

"I didn’t mean to hurt you" He replied weakly as she sat on the bed like a full sack and cried silently.

"Why?" She asked after some time, looking at him with a sad look in her teary eyes. "Wasn’t I good enough for you? I know we’re not destined mates, but I tried to be the best possible partner for you... why did you hurt me like this?"

"I’m a man Marcy. You were always too busy for me... I needed to relieve myself once In a while..." He finally admits, leaving her shocked.

"I love you but sometimes my carnal desires are not limited to things like this."

After another round of silence settled in the room, she calmly got up and in slow and measured steps, she walked towards him.

He stood there, unmoving, his chin low, waiting till their toes were almost touching and he could feel her breath on his face and likewise she.

He was expecting a slap.

Maybe some curse words and ...

She’ll leave?

But the next thing he knew, her fingers landed softly on his lower lip, caressing it.

He froze without taking his eyes off hers as she fumbled with it, her eyes not leaving his lips.

Before he could say a word, she pulled his shoulders down and grabbed his lips with hers, initiating a passionate kiss between them.

Tongue lapping against tongue, flesh against flesh, they let their desires for each other take over them.

In the early hours of the morning, Ray opened one eye and the other and squinted while adjusting to the sunlight seeping into the room.

He stayed like that for some seconds until he remembered what had happened last night, only for him to instinctively turn, but Marcy was no where in sight.

Was it all a dream?

Did he imagine everything yesterday?

The fight? The s*x?

He got down from the bed and absentmindedly put on his shorts.

Today was the full moon festival, If she had really come back yesterday, she’d be in the kitchen helping out with cooking or decorations like she always did.

Right?

When he put on a shirt, he ran out, only to bump into Brittany.

She was crying and her hair was ruffled up.

Still wearing her Pjs, she looked like an emotional wreck.

"Sweetheart what’s wrong?" He made to touch her but she retreated, leaving his arm hanging.

 

Chapter 3

Naomi blew against her skin once again before carefully applying the herb on her bruised elbow.

She blinked painfully, readjusting to the swell underneath her eyes. It had turned purple last night; after Anna had slammed her face against the kitchen slab when she had ’carefully’ carried her out of the Beta’s room.

That wasn’t the only thing she had done though. She used her as a punching bag last night and since everyone was asleep, no one heard her cries and frantic attempts to escape from the treacherous torture, so she had huddled up in the corner of the kitchen, hugging her head, and had bore the pains and beatings till Anna was tired and had left her there to cry and clean up later on.

She had trouble sleeping all night and had gone to pick some fresh herbs from the forest to treat herself first thing in the morning.

As she sat there on her ’bed’, wincing while applying the medication, no one barely noticed her. If they did, they ignored her.

They were too busy gossiping about the breaking news trending in the Alpha’s mansion this morning.

They were loud; of course that was the only reason she managed to grasp what they were saying.

Marcy had dissappeared this morning and had left a note for her husband, Ray, on the dresser table, but Brittany had found it while poke nosing round the room.

She was found crying in the kitchen cabinet and didn’t hesitate to tell the head chef everything; who informed Alpha Damien.

Currently, he had sent some Pack warriors, along with his Gamma to search for her while he was with the Beta, having a ’talk’.

Naomi couldn’t help but feel this was all her fault.

She sighed and cast her beautiful upturned eyes down.

Her left eye was swollen and had blackened.

She was supposed to bring Daniel his breakfast and she’d feed him in his room like she had been doing since he was little, but she couldn’t let him see her like this.

The news this morning had distracted Anna a bit.

She hoped it would keep her preoccupied for a while so she could stay in for today.

She could barely move.

Naomi painfully closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall, wondering where Marcy could be.

Beta Ray sat on his bed, his face buried in his hands.

He looked so depressed and dejected.

Alpha Damien had given him a piece of his mind this morning which Included getting a fist aimed at his jaw. Marcy was his little sister after all, and he couldn’t risk seeing her hurt; especially not by her own husband.

And now, she had suddenly disappeared with no trace.

His jaw still stung where Damien had punched him, but it didn’t sting more than the feeling of dejection when ignored by his kids.

He couldn’t take it anymore so he sat back down and just mussed over everything like a sadist.

Marcy uses special herbs to conceal her scent because she worked as a female pack warrior in the neighboring pack, so it was difficult for Gamma Nathan and the pack warriors to get even a wiff of her scent.

And since they weren’t destined mates, the mark wouldn’t be of enough help to find her, and even If he could find her, he wasn’t sure he had the audacity to look her in the face again.

Someone suddenly walked in, but he was too moody to look up. He knew someone had walked in, and when he caught the scent of food wafting through his nostrils, he knew it was one of the Omegas.

He didn’t bother to look up.

She put down the tray of food on his table but didn’t leave immediately.

Ray looked up, his elbows placed on his knees, his hands hanging down in a lazy posture.

His expression darkened when he saw who it was.

"You shouldn’t worry because she left you, Ray. She probably doesn’t know your worth." Anna began talking, not in the slightest bothered by the look on his face. "If you make me yours, I promise you won’t even remember her." She calmly walked close to him and placed her hands on his shoulders, shyly looking into his eyes, intensely licking her lips in a gesture to seduce him; which only Infuriated him the more.

"And yesterday... It wasn’t supposed to happen, It was all because of that Useless Omega" She scoffed. "Well, I showed her her place yesterday and I’m sure she’ll never dare to interrupt us anymore, Ray."

His pushed her back so abruptly that she suddenly fell back, knocking down the tray of food.

The noise was definitely loud, attracting some nosy Omegas who knew Anna had gone upstairs to pacify him. They all left their duties half-done and rushed up to the Beta’s floor.

Since the Alpha wasn’t around presently to bark orders at them, they had the liberty to do as they liked.

Daniel was at that moment walking around the mansion, one hand holding his favorite black and blue teddy bear which Naomi had made for him, still in his PJs, looking for her while Naomi at that moment was fast asleep, head against the wall.

Anna fell back on the ground, and the food spilled on the floor, messing up the tiles and her clothes.

Aside Marcy, Ray and Naomi, no one knew who Marcy had caught with the Beta, but the Omegas already had a clear picture of who might fit the description of the home wrecker.

Anna blinked up at Ray who stood over the mess, glaring at her like she was the most disgusting thing he had ever lay sight on while trying not to die of embarrassment as she heard snickers from the people standing just at the door.

"What did you just call me?" He demanded, throbbing in anger and inculcated all his Beta aura in the room; causing everyone around to bow their heads in submission.

Even Anna trembled and she scrambled to kneel before him as she said.

"I’m sorry... Beta Ray."

"Now listen" He growled a deep throaty growled which echoed in the room, stunning Anna who wasn’t used to seeing this side of him. "You pathetic Omega. You’re nothing more than a carnal pleasure. Just because you roll around with me in my sheets doesn’t make you anywhere close to even being my mistress. You have till noon today to pack your things and leave this mansion. Do I make myself clear?!"

"Y- yes R... Beta Ray!!!" She replied immediately, not daring to look up.

"Getout." He commanded with so much disdain and hostility that she scrambled up hurriedly.

She slipped and fell several times as she made her way out of the room, trying not to burst into tears as the Omegas who she used to bully and taunt, snickered at her retreating back.

Ray glared at them all and as they dispersed, he angrily kicked his table which upturned in the air before he kicked it down again and it smashed in pieces along with the mess on the floor.

It was very lonely and quiet in the room when Anna burst in, half angry-half infuriated and didn’t hesitate to make a bee line for the poor girl who slept with her head against the wall.

She part-shifted; her claws had grown longer and her eyes were blazing like fire with a red slit in the middle.

Fur had grown around her neck and arm region.

She quickly shot out her arm and grabbed Naomi by the neck, waking her up with that sharp movement of hers.

She naturally cried out as her body was completely lifted off the ground and she was dangling in the air.

Her hand frantically tried to pull her neck from her grip as her face turned purple, but she since she had no wolf, was currently wounded and had lost alot of blood, she was no match for Anna.

"There’s no way I’m leaving and you’re going to stay alive. It’s all your fault I’m in this mess, you pathetic abomination. You can’t even shift to defend yourself. Just what are you?!" As she spoke, she increased her grip intensity.

Naomi’s hand suddenly fell by her sides and dangled freely with her eyes closed.

Anna smiled, a glint of madness in her eyes as she prepared to finish her off when she felt something hitting her.

Half distracted, she looked down to see a small thing hitting her by the sides of her legs with small fists, crying.

Daniel, crying frantically with snort running down his nose, his teddy bear on the ground beside him, was dragging her by the hem of her dress.

"Let her go. Let Nana go!!!" He hit her some more.

Though she didn’t feel anything, she felt he was being rather a headache and a hindrance to her.

Irritated, she threw Noami down when she was done with her, and she landed like a log of wood on the ground, unmoving.

 

Chapter 4

Annaliese starts leaving with a nonchalant expression, turning away.

For a second, Daniel ran towards the body and dropped down on his knees; just beside Naomi.

He slowly, with the most of care, brushed his hand just across her cheek with a confused expression on his face.

Fresh tears suddenly ran down his face as he fondly rubbed his thumb across the dry blood by the side of her mouth.

"Don’t bother kid. She’s dead" Anna announced, turning to start packing. She looked at him as he stood up slowly.

"And you better not try to leave till I’m done packing and leaving this trash house." She sneered and turned around, hastily putting a few things in an old duffel bag.

Already, she planned on stealing a few foodstuffs from the kitchen and some jewelries from Marcy’s room.

He finally turned to her.

He was shaking violently, and different shades of blue were suddenly swirling in his large eyes filled with unshed tears.

"You killed Nana." He confirmed in a dark tone.

She didn’t reply and only clicked her tongue nonchalantly.

What could a six year old possibly do?

She wouldn’t let him leave till she was far away from the mansion.

If he told anyone what she had done, they might not believe him.

Besides, Naomi was a pathetic, wolfless Omega.

No one would even notice her absence.

No one would mourn her.

She scoffed in disgust as she remembered how the Beta had embarrassed her today.

Suddenly, she hears bones cracking.

She blinked severally, turned and staggered back on seeing what was before her

He was just six.

Right? RIGHT???

He was barely a teenager.

He was just a toddler.

How was he even...

Clothes began shredding and falling to lie in pieces on the floor.

Before she could gulp, before her stood on four legs, a medium large wolf with long sprout ears, canines long and sharp as it growled at her, its nose flaring.

She stepped back, the things in her hands falling to the ground.

However, when she turned to run away, she slipped on something as she moved backwards and fell to the ground.

The wolf was black with navy blue colored patches designing the fur and its eyes...

They were glowing some sort of Vegas, dark gold color with a cedar red slit in the middle, giving the wolf an intimidating look.

She wanted to scream but at once, he leaped on her and after some shrill screams and struggles, he tore her in shreds, killing her instantly before she could even shift to defend herself.

Landing on the ground, his paw soaked in blood along with almost everything else in the room, he shifts back to his

naked human form, fast asleep, unconscious likely.

It was not until later afternoon, did an Omega walk in on them, only to scream; alerting almost the whole household.

The pack warriors had yet to return, but Alpha Damien had returned a while ago.

He heard the scream of course and plenty more screams later on.

He mind linked Anna, the supposed head maid, but it wasn’t going through.

He didn’t want to mind link Ray.

He was still mad at him, because they were yet to find Marcy all day and he wouldn’t leave his room.

He just stayed there, sulking. Pathetic.

He tried mind linking some others, but he sensed something was definitely wrong.

He decided to check it out himself.

He couldn’t mind link Noami, Daniel’s ’mummy’.

Apparently, she has no wolf and was pretty much seen as a human in the Pack.

So he sighed, going out.

He ran into Barton whose eyes was wide with shock and fear.

He was trembling terribly.

Damien smelt trouble.

"What’s wrong?"

Barton couldn’t reply and only looked down at his hands, raised at eye level like he hadn’t seen something like that before in his life.

He noticed blood on Barton’s hand and at once, he got the wift of blood in his nostrils and he began to run in the direction of where the stench came off strongly.

From far behind , Barton chased after him but in unhurried steps; almost like he was too petrified to run as enthusiastically as he usually did.

Brittany stubbornly went along with the pack warriors, so she wasn’t around.

Once Damien arrived , his heart began to race fast and he didn’t know why.

He saw a crowd of Omegas gathered at the door, talking in hushed whispers.

As he made his way close to the scenery, he used his Alpha aura and like the red sea, they parted hurriedly but reluctantly and let him in.

"What happened to Nana?" The pestering little voice timidly asked at the back.

Damien gritted his teeth as he drove along the path of rocks which made the car bounce once In a while.

They were on the their way to the Moon Howler’s Pack with Daniel’s things in the car trunk.

"She’s in a better place Daniel. How many times do I have to tell you." He was already fed up. This was the nth time.

"Where?" He insisted.

Damien held the bridge of his nose and didn’t say a word.

"It’s not fair" Daniel muttered after some time. "You’re sending me away from home and from my best friend".

"You disobeyed me." He replied coolly, suppressing the urge to lash out at him. "I gave you a chance to behave and what did you do? You killed someone. Daniel, you killed someone, and somehow you shifted at just six. Until I figure out what your actual punishment is and when the Shaman figures out why you shifted at this time, at some point you’re not returning to the Dark Risers’s pack."

"I was saving....."

"She was an Omega. She was not worth fighting for." He quickly reconstructes his words. "Anna would have been given the appropriate punishment, but you shouldn’t have killed her. You’re only alive because you’re my son and because she was an Omega."

"Where’s Nana, Daddy?" He asked again, his lower lip, trembling.

Damien gritted his teeth and hit the brakes.

The car stopped so abruptly that Daniel would have flown through the car windscreen if it weren’t for the fact that he was satcheled in with his seat belt.

He looked up at Damien who glared at him from the rear view mirror.

"She’s dead Daniel" He spat out. "She’s with your mother. They’re In a safe place, but they’re never coming back."

And just like he expected, he left the car and walked away, leaving Daniel to wail and cry out under the moon and stars that were the only ones left to witness this pitiful scene.

His wails put Damien through so many emotions as he ran further away from the car yet he let him cry till he fell unconscious from being so weak.

 

Chapter 5

Few weeks later

Marcy stood before her brother in the Alpha’s office, her head bowed.

She was covered in mud and blood and most of her hair was gone.

Alpha Damien glared down at her, his tapered fingers tapping absentmindedly on the arm of his huge throne like chair, the other underneath his jaw.

"Where did you think you were going?" He finally asked, glad within himself that he hadn’t lost control and lashed out at her.

"Far away." She replied nonchalantly, her head kept down still.

"Into the Rogues territory, Marceline!!!" Damien finally snapped and hit the desk Infront of him, causing everything on it to fly to the ground.

Marcy tried her best not to be shaken, but she still trembled, forced to look down underneath his aura.

Beta Ray who stood at the corner of the room also shook in fear for the fact that Damien would shred his wife in pieces. And he knew he didn’t deserve to do anything in the first place because he was the reason she ran away and accidentally ran into rogues territory. He thanked his stars that his wife was a trained female warrior. He wondered what her fate would be fighting against several of them barehand and alone before the Dark Risers’s pack warriors found her half dead by the mountains.

After panting for a while, he marched over to Marcy.

She stiffened when she felt his arms around her. It wasn’t like she didn’t like his embrace. She really needed it infact. But she didn’t expect it from him. Either way, she threw her hands underneath his waist and buried her face in the hallow of his neck, finally letting everything out.

Her cries were loud and her body shook violently at the impact of her tears.

Her snort and tears mixed up in a sadistic mess all over his shirt, but he held her tighter , his heart clenching at the pain she exuded from within.

Ray bowed his head to the ground, clenching and unclenching his fists at his sides while keeping his cool.

Her tears racked his insides In a way that made him want to kill himself for hurting her in the first place and also made him want to crush her in his embrace like Damien was doing.

He growled. It was low and deep, erupting from his chest.

He walked out of the office, banging the door close behind him. Without waiting to leave past the main doors, he shifted Midway jumping out the window, into a glorious brown wolf with chocolate brown patches to match his green eyes

Once his paw touched the grass and he felt the soothing feeling of the mushy green grass between his paws, he began to run as fast as possible, away from the mansion

Damien had Marcy in his arms, bridal style.

He carried her downstairs with ease to the Beta’s floor, his feet heavy with each step he took though. Carefully placing her on the bed, he turned to go after glancing at her face for a while.

Her face was so bruised up. He wondered what would have happened if they hadn’t found her in time. He squeezed his fists. Because of her absence since last two weeks, he didn’t go for the full moon festival. Though he only arrived, he did it for the sole purpose of gracing the event with his presence.

Someone knocked on the door of his office and he perked up and looked at the door with a lost look on his eyes.

"Come in" He answered to the knock and in came an Omega.

"She’s here" She announced, her head bowed.

"Let her in" Damien ordered, sitting up properly.

She nodded and left, returning some minutes later with another Omega, but this one was wrapped in bandages and plasters. She could barely walk even.

"Leave us." Damien inclined to the Omega who had walked in earlier, and she didn’t hesitate before leaving the two.

The Alpha placed his jaw on his hand as he thoughtfully scrutinized the petite girl before him with golden brown chest nut hair and deep, unwavering blue eyes.

"Naomi, right?" He conferred; after a while.

"Yes, Alpha."

He sat properly and leaned his head forward to look at her from a closer perspective.

"I’m sure you know what happened to Daniel"

Noami knew she had to keep her head down as a sign of respect when talking to the Alpha, but she suddenly looked up and met with his eyes before saying with unshed tears in her eyes.

"He didn’t deserve it. He was saving me. He wasn’t supposed to be punished!!!"

Damien’s brows rose. He wasn’t expecting her to talk back that way, but he was amused at her defiant tone and boldness.

"You do know he shifted. He’s six. You know that, right?"

"Yes..."

"And he killed someone... you know that too, don’t you?"

"He was defending me."

"Why?"

"Because... " She hesitated. "Because we’re best friends."

Damien chuckled before turning to her with a serious expression.

"Now tell me. What If he couldn’t defend you or himself. What if Anna had hurt him ...what then Naomi?"

She didn’t say anything for a while but before he could continue, she cut in.

"Then I’d take responsibility of what had happened and get punished instead. But this time, he did nothing wrong and you just... and you just... Why did you do that to your own son!!! He’s just six!!! He doesn’t have a mother, but he needs all the parental love he can get from you and you just...."

Damien had been rubbing the bridge of his nose as she spoke, but when her words had gone out of control, he stood up in a flash and roared.

"Are you questioning my decision?!"

Voluntarily, she stopped talking, but he noticed that even under his voice, his aura emanating, she barely shook but retained a steady eye contact with him.

ɪɴᴛᴇʀᴇsᴛɪɴɢ.

He thought as he sat back down, slowly.

Wanting to change the topic , he asked.

"Today, you informed me that you had a dream... a vision? You saw Marcy lying half-dead by the cliff of a mountain..." He crossed his legs and folded his hand underneath his chin again and leaned back. "We’ve been searching for my sister for days, weeks; with the best pack warriors in my pack and we couldn’t find her. It was hard to believe you that easily this morning, but she was exactly where you said she’d be. How come it was true. Did you know she’d run into rogues?" His tone had grown suspicious.

"No... I just saw her and I felt she could really be there." She stuttered warily.

"Do you have dreams like this often." He asked, suddenly interested in her.

She definitely wasn’t a normal she-wolf.

’I keep having one and I can’t understand it, but you wouldn’t be of much help’. Naomi thought as she shook her head.

"Very well. Before you leave, you should know this..."

He cleared his throat as he began.

"Daniel thinks you’re dead."

"But I’m not" She almost laughed In pain at the thought of Daniel being so dejected and feeling helpless at his little age because she was ’dead’. "You told him that, right?"

He didn’t answer immediately.

"You TOLD him I was dead" She asked, trembling in anger and frustration. "Why??"

"Incase you’ve lost it kid, I’m 3 times your age and I’m your Alpha, so tame your mouth or I’ll cut out that slick tongue of yours!"

"I’m sorry but...." She looked down at her legs as she admitted. "I don’t really have any friends and Daniel... Daniel’s like the little brother I never had, my best friend. I can’t stay a day without him. It’s bad enough I can’t see him for a while, now he thinks I’m dead?"

Something tugged his heart at her confession, but he shook off her words almost immediately before he said.

"Know your place here. He’s the Alpha’s son. MY son and you’re just an Omega. I noticed his obsession with you while he was here and I always brushed it off as a child’s thing. But things got out of hand. He killed someone for you. He was getting out of control and as the future Alpha of the Dark Risers’s pack, I didn’t want his future subjects to see him as the enemy, so I sent him away. He’ll be back, that I can assure you. But you mustn’t let him know you’re still alive".

She held back the tears wavering in her eyes as she forced herself to talk.

"So you’re going to kill me?"

Damien chuckled at her ridiculous assumption.

"He’s six. Just give him a few months and he’ll forget about you and get used to other people. You can opt to remain here but you mustn’t let him know who you are. Pretend to be someone else if you have to..."

As he spoke, she digged her nails in her palms, trying to keep calm.

"I’m doing this for the good of my people, for him and for you. Look what he did at such a little age, what do you suppose he’d do for you when he’s older. Burn down the Alpha’s mansion?"

"Daniel isn’t like that" She defended weakly.

He sneered at her.

"I thought you knew your best friend."

She cast her eyes down.

"You can take some days off to heal, and remember all we’ve talked about." He said, and she left after he waved her off.

Once she vacated office, she ran downstairs, all the way to her room.

It was empty and quiet as she fell back on her blanket, her head and back placed on the cold wall as she cried and cried till she was left sniffling weakly, her heart aching.

In a room, situated in the Moon Howler’s pack, Daniel sat on the floor next to his bed, his head and back placed against the wall as tears flowed down his cheeks at the thought of spending another week without seeing Noami.

He had just attempted to run away, but he was caught and locked up inside the room.

A tray of food had been upturned on the ground, spilling its content, evident that he had refused to eat dinner once again.

 

Chapter 6

years later

A blue Hatchback stood out from all the dirty pick up trucks lined up in the garage.

Someone jumped down from the driver’s seat, his feet splattering mud on the soles of his shoe once it touched the ground.

He shut the car door behind him as he moved forward, only to be accosted by two pack warriors at the entrance of the garage with weapons.

"We’ll be escorting you in" They said in unison, in deep throaty voices and before he could say anything, he was already sandwiched between them walking towards the Alpha’s abode.

As they walked along the lushy grasses, he saw a group of young girls outside, in the swimming pool area, enjoying themselves. Most of them were half dressed, leaving something to the imagination while the rest were barely covered , giving him a view of their sumptuous hot bods and arcres upon arcres of curves and cleavages.

Many were blondes, some , brunettes, the rest had dyed hair.

He subconsciously bit his lower lip at the thought of bedding at least one or two??? A threesome would be nice. He hadn’t had that in weeks now. It was usually just a quickie but since he had to spend a night here at the Moon Howler’s pack, he was sure they wouldn’t mind.

After all, he had the looks, the body. His forest green hair was wavy and roughed; giving him that bad ass boy look. His honey deep colored eyes were sexy and attracted the young women bobbing up and down in the water.

The shy ones looked away after stealing quick glances at the ripped abs visible underneath his shirt while the bold ones began touching themselves seductively, winking at him and biting their lips, a silent invitation to join them in the pool.

Hiding a sly grin, he looked away, his wolf, Charlie almost scrambling to tear through him and devour every single one of them.

’Just be patient, Barton, just one quick meeting with Alpha Justin and you can get any woman (Ahem* Women) to yourself’ He comforted himself.

They were definitely Not Omegas. The way they lingered so freely in the pool was evident they had ties with the Alpha in some way. There were about 17 young women. He heard the Alpha had a lot of wives before finding his mate. Perhaps they could all be his daughters.

"Here please". One of the warriors standing at his side spoke, beckoning his hand towards the entrance of the Alpha’s domain. "The Alpha will see you now".

He nodded to the men as he got in, fumbling with his car keys.

In one of the other rooms, a boy not less than 18 sat at the edge of the bed, his feet firmly placed on the suitcase on the ground next to the other things he had packed up along with his belongings.

He stared at the single rose flower in his hand , a message attached to the stem.

He rolled his eyes nonchalantly with scoff before tossing the rose on the bed. He eased his head back, raising his hand forward as he stretched, bones cracking softly in the process.

"So what do you say!!! Are we meeting up or not?". Kelvin, his wolf demanded in his head hurriedly.

"Come on, Daniel!!!" His wolf pestered as he stood up without a word, still stretching.

He still didn’t answer, his metallic blue eyes lazily glanced out his window only to spot his cousin’s Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback outside.

"He’s here. He actually came" Daniel scoffed as he talked to himself, slowly.

He raised a brow before facing the other way, cracking his knuckles.

"Okay Boy!! It’s time to go. Enough with the shenanigans, alright. We’ve had our fun". He finally replied his wolf.

"You still have a night here before you head back to the Dark Risers’s pack and there’s a pool party out there with a bunch of hot girls" Then he added quickly. "I’m sure there are SOME women you haven’t bedded yet".

"I’m not sure about that" Daniel chuckled with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Well don’t you want to know why Dora insists on seeing you tonight. I thought you guys were best friends". Kelvin pestered again.

Daniel sighed.

For someone who had a speciality to be able to communicate with his wolf like two normal teenagers talking, he should be psyched about it. But when Kelvin starts talking, there was no stopping him.

"We WERE. I have to be honest with you kelvin, I really respected her. After all, she was the Alpha’s last daughter and for someone who never made a move on me like other girls, I didn’t mind our friendship, but after last night, everything changed"

"What changed? She kissed you, you kissed her back and you guys f**ked".

"That’s the problem. She was like a little sister to me. I felt like I betrayed myself and her. That night shouldn’t have happened".

"And that explains why you’ve been avoiding her".

"Yeah". Daniel rolled his eyes in a ’of course’ manner.

"I still say you should go see her". Daniel rubbed the bridge of his well defined shaped nose once he starts talking again. "I mean, it’s your last night here. You might never see her again".

"If I see her tonight will you at least SHUT UP!!!".

The sound of girls giggling and splashing themselves with water kept fading as he walked along the road track towards the forest.

He strode casually, his hands in his pocket, his black bangs concealing his forehead. His eyes were half closed as he chewed a gum. He had that bad boy look perfectly completed with two stud earrings on his left ear and a beautiful scar on his right eye which he got from training with some of the Moon Howler’s pack warriors.

His feet made crunchy noises as he stepped on the broken twigs and leaves until he arrived at a cabin wood house made of wood and tall grasses.

He and Dora had made this with some adult’s supervision when he was just about 8 and she was 7. They were so close. Almost inseparable. Though he always admitted that she was never like Naomi. His late best friend.

He stopped at the door, his hand on the door knob as the thought of Naomi crossed his mind.

Naomi.

He felt a small pang of pain in his heart before he sighed and walked in to see someone backing him.

Dora.

The girl with braces and skinny hands and legs with several red rashes from always getting sting from bees.

That Dora was standing before him now. A seventeen young belle. The youngest and most beautiful Alpha’s daughter in the Moon Howler’s pack.

Her hair was jet black, falling in waves down her back and it was evident that she had been in the pool. Her body was wet, forming a small water puddle underneath her barefeet.

His hands subconsciously fell out of his pockets as he stared at her glistening skin under the moonlight from the window.

Her bikini was tight and skimpy and showed off her body , only covering up her private areas scarcely.

She suddenly turned, her hair swaying to fall behind her, water droplets dropping down her hair.

Her sharp features were visible to him now. Those her enchanting emerald green eyes and ruby red lips that looked like she was always pouting.

He cleared his throat and placed one hand in his pocket, trying to sound nonchalant.

"I was busy but...".

"Danny You came!!!" She exclaimed and before he could say anything, she spurred forward and hugged him.

He was stunned but he didn’t hug her back. Eventually, when she didn’t pull away, he pushed her back by grabbing her shoulders and pulling away.

Her smile still didn’t waver as she looked at him in earnest, her eyes shining brightly.

Daniel sighed and let go off her.

"We actually do need to talk Dora".

"Yes ..I ..heard you’ll be leaving tomorrow".

"Yes".

She turned sympathetic.

"I’m sorry about your father..he was...a good man".

Daniel almost scoffed but he said nothing about that.

"Anyway", She brightened up immediately. "I was talking with my Dad last night and he said it was okay for me to go along with you".

Daniel stuttered. "What?! What do you mean ’go along with me’ ".

She was surprised by his sudden mood change but she continued still.

"He didn’t have a problem with it. Besides, daddy thinks it’s a good idea for us to spend more time with each other now we’ve...".

"So what? We might get married or something or ....".

"We might turn out to be fated mates". She finally spilled out and for a minute they just stared into each other’s eyes without a word.

Expectation in her eyes , Arrogance in his.

"No". He said after a while, his frown, deepening.

She blinked for some time before she finally frowned In confusion.

"What?".

Daniel sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

It was going to be hard to admit this to her. But he had to be plain honest.

"Believe me, it’s as hard as it is for me than you, Dora. Last night was a mistake".

Dora managed a smile, already trembling in fear for what she was expecting to come.

She came closer to hold him, to touch him, but he stepped back, avoiding eye contact. He didn’t want to see her hurt look.

"No it wasn’t. Dan last night...last night was magical.. ..it was the most wonderful experience ever and I had my first with you and...".

"Stop stop. Just stop it" He yelled at her and she stepped back with the smile frozen on her face. He looked at her. "You have to stop this. This pathetic facade you’re putting up with, thinking you actually love me and we’re going to be fated mates because we’ve been best friends for a long time..you have to stop it, okay?!!".

She yelled back when it seemed like looking desperate wouldn’t work.

"So you think I’m just like other women you’ve bedded!!! You think I’m like my sisters or my friends or like the pathetic Omegas you hang around with".

"No..I don’t" His tone softened, filled with impatience. "You’re special, okay? You really are but....".

"I was a virgin. I let you have my virginity like it was nothing and this is the payback I get?".

"You’re not the first virgin I’ve bedded so zip it". He countered, annoyed. She was a virgin, but he knew Dora wasn’t a pure one. Of course he knew about her anal and oral sexual sessions with several guys AND girls he had lost count of.

He didn’t believe a girl could be as innocent as he imagined.

"I’ll be leaving tomorrow with my cousin and from then on, I’ll have to take on my duty as the new Alpha sooo I’ll be really busy. I might visit...".

"Yeah right" Kelvin suddenly scoffed, knowing that last part was a TOTAL lie.

"...But.. I’m sorry Dora... whatever happened between us ends here from today".

"Eight years Dan. Eight years of friendship" She began shaking her head, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Wasted with just one night" He roared at her and she flinched under his roar and bowed her head in submission. "Only the moon goddess knows how much I want to erase that night from my memories but it’s not possible so all we can do is forget about it and pretend like nothing happened between us".

"Dan". she whispered, the tears finally rolling down her cheek.

He came close, his eyes softening and pushed the tears off her face with just a swipe of his thumb. He swooped in and stole one last kiss from her lips which she returned willingly and immediately but it was cut short much due to her disappointment when he leaned back.

He stepped away from her without breaking eye contact.

"Go enjoy the party. I still have some packing to do". He addressed her formally and starts leaving without sparing her a glance.

Dora just stood there and scoffed once he left, wiping her fake tears away.

She thought her tears would soften his heart and he might reconsider but Daniel really hasn’t changed after all these years , has he?

She’ll have to go along with plan B

 

Chapter 7

Daniel was up in his room relishing the view of watching half nude women splashing about in the water under the moon and twinkling stars.

He leaned over with his elbows on the window pane and scanned the area for Dora but he didn’t see her.

"I thought she’d rejoin them at the pool".

"You hurt her feelings. Of course she’d be in her room wetting pillows and blankets". Kelvin stated.

"Whatever". He rolled his eyes.

"Treating girls like sh*t" Kelvin continued , earning another another loud sigh from Daniel. "Changing girls like underwear, breaking girls’ heart. You’re messing with the moon goddess boy".

Daniel scoffed , a chuckle escaping his lips as he lazily stared at two girls who he had a threesome with like two weeks ago.

’They look good in those bikinis’. He thought with approval. He had taken them shopping and had picked them out himself.

"What do you mean ’messing with the moon goddess’. I have no business with her". He finally pointed out.

"You mayn’t but the moon goddess does and it’s not your choice to make. She’ll bring to you a mate who you’ll kiss the ground for, begging for attention".

Daniel laughed leaning away from the window.

"The thought of that is just ..is just" He kept laughing at the scene of him bowing to a girl’s feet begging for attention. "Ridiculous!!!".

Right in hell!!!!

"That’s what they all say". It was Kelvin’s turn to scoff.

"Really Kelvin? I don’t think any woman on earth is worthy of my love and you think I’d be that desperate enough to seek for some flimsy attention from a woman".

"That’s why she’s the moon goddess".

"I don’t think the moon goddess deserves to find me a mate. She thinks she can finally exist and find me a mate" His voice suddenly sounded pained as he looked out the window. "Where was she when my best friend died, huh? Or when I was taken away from my home for 12 years. Where was she?".

"Everything is for a reason Daniel. I see what’s been going on. You’ve been venting out your frustration on women. You think hurting them will make you feel better. You’re a real shitty kid, I’m gonna tell you that" Kelvin scoffed at him.

"I’ll be here. I’ll be here when you find your mate and when you do find her, you’ll look back on your words and regret them".

"Are you sure I can’t mute you or turn you off or something" Daniel interrupted when he felt bored just listening to him.

Kelvin said nothing more and retreated to the back of his mind and Daniel knew he was angry.

"Cuz.!!!" Someone yelled, banging his door close.

Daniel was still leaning against the window and turned lazily to see who had barged in.

It was Barton.

Though he had seen him once all these years on a visit, he looked really different.

He wasn’t that annoying chubby kid who loved bullying him with his twin sister.

Barton had..really grown...

Daniel felt impressed seeing him for the first time.

"Hey Bart." Daniel called casually. It was his turn to grin, when Barton frowned.

"Still sticking to calling me that huh?" He joined him and the two leaned on the window pane staring at the women.

"I heard Brittany’s found her mate". Daniel said, still looking ahead.

"Mum told you?".

"Yeah. So who is he?".

"Some Beta. I think in the Blood moon’s pack". He disclosed.

Daniel didn’t say anything and just nodded. She found her mate. Great. End of discussion.

"I brought beer", Barton announced, raising two bottles of beer he hadn’t noticed he had. "Here".

"Thanks" Daniel said, taking one and chugging it down immediately.

"You’ve been with Justin for a while" Daniel chipped in as the two continued looking out the window, this time raising their chin up to chug down their beer once in a while.

"Just some pep. talk. You know..since I’m your only oldest male relative. He said some things about keeping you in check. Making sure you play your roles and duties well and take responsibility of most things happening in the pack. Blah blah blah. I kind of lost track of some things he said but I’m sure you get the memo."

Daniel didn’t say anything for a while but after a minute he turned to ask a question when he noticed Barton looking at him.

"What?"

"Nothing..just...you’ve grown man. Really. You’re not that same little Danny we used to bully back then".

Daniel smiled.

"Yeah.. remember that time we had a massive fight and you sort of punched my nose because I bit Brittany and I bled like hell so my father had to ’banish’ you guys from the mansion".

Barton laughed at the memory.

"That was some punch. And your little mummy nearly blew a fuse when she walked into the scene".

Daniel half smiled when he heard this part of the story that he couldn’t recall happening.

"My..little..what??".

Barton scratched his head.

"I think you called her Nana or something" He starts chuckling not noticing the pained look that filled Daniel’s eyes instantly. "She was like your mummy then so I kind of assumed...". He stopped talking when he noticed his cousin’s countenance.

"I’m...really..sorry.. I didn’t...".

"No it’s okay". Daniel said and whispered after. "I just ...really miss her".

Barton just nodded, looking away. He couldn’t say anything because he had made the atmosphere awkward between them.

When he spotted the women again, he perked up and quickly said.

"How about we get more beer downstairs with the women. I’m thinking of spending my night in a more erotic style" Saying that he wiggled his brows at Daniel causing the young boy to chuckle a bit which made Barton feel better.

"I don’t really think bedding a woman twice would be as exciting as the first" Daniel casually said.

Barton took a minute to process his words before he finally hit him on the shoulder with a half-surprised, half-amused look.

"What!!! What!!! You can’t be ..are you telling me...you...you’ve..all of them?? Really???".

Daniel rubbed the shoulder with a sly smirk.

"I’m maxed out. I need my sleep for tomorrow, Okay?" He said instead and turned to walk towards his bathroom. "Have fun". He adds, raising his bottle of beer over his head and waving.

Barton looked on, amused and finally looked back outside when the bathroom door was shut.

"Hey honnie!!! Are you just gonna stare at us or are you coming to join us down here. The pool’s open for one more hottie". A girl who had been stealing glances at him finally yelled, causing other girls to glance up at him.

Soon they began cheering and splashing about , calling out to him to come join them.

His eyes almost bulged out of his sockets once he saw the ’open’ invitation.

Um...

ACCEPTED!!!

He began running out of the room blindly and collided with someone.

Whoever it was broke his fall but he was quick to hold his weight off the person by placing his palms face-down on the floor.

His heart stilled on seeing who was lying beneath him.

Those gorgeous emerald green eyes held his orbs captive.

He smelt booze on her so she was obviously drunk. But what was she doing here? He hadn’t even seen her among the women today yet she looked like the most beautiful woman he had seen today.

Her eyes were sleepy; heavy with drunkenness and the way she was curved perfectly underneath his body made his groin throb with arousal.

Charlie growled and howled, urging him to take her right now , right here. But he wasn’t sure he should take advantage of her in her drunken state.

"I’m sorry..I ...didn’t.." Before he could say a word, the girl brought down his head on hers and swallowed his lips into her mouth, wolfing down on his tongue like she was a ravenous thirsty person and he was like a lost oases in a desert.

 

Chapter 8

He wasn’t sure where they were headed. But they moved to a room next to Daniel’s, kissing and fondling each other like the hungry werewolves they were.

But their hunger could only be sated by something beyond imagination. Something past sitting at the dinning table with a plate of hot steaming steak over your face. Something...Carnal.

On entering the room(Which was actually a supply closet), he kicked the door close with just a swift move of his foot, still entangled in a hot make out session with the green eyed goddess who was already tearing his shirt to shreds with her claws.

’Feisty..I like that!!!’. He thought as he pulled her hair back , smashing his lips on hers again, burying his tongue in her mouth when she gasped at how fast he took her in.

She shuddered against his embrace, her knees quacking in desire. Her mouth formed an ’o’ as he leaned down to leave hickeys around her slender smooth fair neck causing the belle to loose control of her senses.

Everything, they did hastily like they didn’t belong there and needed to be out as soon as possible.

Barton ran his hands over her hips; over and over again before he found the linen of her panties. He didn’t hesitate to rip them off her body earning an aroused squeal from her throat.

He did the same with her brassiere till her body was in its full glory before him.

Her body was his tonight. His to touch. His to suck. His to plunder. She was his!!!

In the dim light that reflected on her face, he took note of all her features. Sharp and well defined. She was a real epitome of beauty. He couldn’t help but steal one more kiss before proceeding to sweep her up and carry her in his arms only to lower her to the ground.

Dora was already lost in a world of her own. A world of pleasure and erotism. Her senses had been nullified to nothing as she willingly gave herself to him.

It was morning.

Very early morning with everyone was still fast asleep in bed and no one in sight as Daniel made his way to the car, putting his things inside with a heavy grunt each time he raised them Into the trunk of the car.

He had said his goodbyes yesterday and wasn’t looking forward to another round of hugging and tearing up again.

Once he was done, he stood, back and elbows resting against the closed trunk of the Hatchback, surveying the place he had lived in for 12 years which never really did feel like home no matter how hard he tried to get used to the people.

He sighed and moved away wondering where Barton was.

He wanted them to leave as soon as possible before he had to face all those women again.

Alpha Justin had longed married three women before he found his mate, Ciara. But before Ciara had come into the picture, he had a lot of children with his wives. Surprisingly, all girls.

But once he exclusively got together with Ciara and had given her the bond mark, he just couldn’t look at any other woman the same way, including his other wives. So later on, he had a baby with Tricia and she bore a girl as well. That girl turned out to be Dora who later on had a little brother Dimitri. So not only was Dora the Alpha’s youngest daughter, she was also the true mate bonded daughter of the Alpha, rendering her his favorite amongst his other daughters.

"You’re still mad at me, aren’t you" Daniel sighed as he asked. He slid into the Passenger’s seat, his knee buckled up against the glove compartment.

Kelvin kept mute.

"Fine then. At least I don’t have to hear your voice throughout the day". Daniel muttered rolling his eyes.

Dora was the first to wake up. She was surprised to find herself in the embrace of a man.

Who wasn’t Daniel!!!

No..this shouldn’t have happened...

She gasped with tears in her eyes as she escaped his embrace and hurriedly put on the flimsy fabric which covered up her bikini.

She barely glanced at the green haired hunk who laid against the wall with his hand sprawled on the floor as she left the room, banging the door behind her.

Once she ran to her room, careful to make sure no one saw her leave the supply closet, she fell against her bed, breathing hard. On realizing what she had done, she grabbed a couple of expensive perfumes on her desser table and threw them across the room before burying her face in the pillow and screaming into it.

"You’re here on time". Daniel sarcastically remarked when Barton slid into the driver’s seat and buckled his seat belt.

Daniel followed suit before returning his gaze on him again.

"Where did you sleep? In the forest?!".

Barton yawned, rubbing the back of his neck as he pushed the key inside the ignition and expertly moving the gear shift before veering out of the compound.

"A forest would have been better". Barton sighed, yawning.

Daniel nudged him.

"You old fart. You didn’t actually do it in the pool , did you?".

"I don’t know what really happened last night Cuz. " His eyes narrowed as he forced himself to focus on the road. "One minute I was on my way to the pool and then I bumped into this green eyed Tasmanian goddess and just like that, we made out and found ourselves in the ...uh..supply closet".

"Seriously??" Daniel was amused. But he paused for a moment, trying to remember how many girls had green eyes in the Alpha’s abode. There were so many. Resisting the urge to ask him for more details about her, he just said..

"You should let me drive. I won’t want to die before actually seeing Dark Risers’s again".

"This is my baby" Barton sleepily implied, patting the dashboard. "There is no way I’m trusting it in your hands".

Daniel scoffed and leaned back.

"Well, since I’m going to be Alpha, I get ownership of all my late dad’s car".

"You still need to learn how to ACTUALLY drive, right?".

"Gamma Nathan can teach me" Daniel chipped in.

"Speaking of Gammas" Barton spoke up, earning him a glance from Daniel. "Once you become Alpha, you get the rights to choose a Beta and a Gamma before you can make any other rules in the mansion".

"Hm. Can’t I just appoint someone to do that".

"You’ll just appoint your officials who’ll in turn handle some matters for you in the future which you wouldn’t like to do".

"Um...okay" Daniel blinked lazily. "I get to appoint anyone right?".

"Yeah. Anyone man".

Daniel stared out his window thoughtfully while nodding.

For a moment, Barton glanced at him before focusing on the track before him.

He smiled.

"You’ll do just great. No sweat okay?".

Daniel turned, surprised.

He didn’t expect his words at all.

He managed a smile.

"Sure thing. T..thanks".

"Now about that supply closet....". Daniel began....

Meanwhile, in Dark Risers’s pack.....

 

Chapter 9

Marcy, greying slightly, looking ever youthful and vibrant with her bright shiny black hair and honey colored eyes was sitting on the bed, staring fondly at the girl who was facing the 9 feet mirror in the room; forcing a yoke waist skirt up her wide hips.

Her rich colored golden brown hair shook like glitter as she moved side by side, forcing the fabric up her body. Her knees moving to and fro as she pulled the waist line, forcing it past her hips.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip!!!!

The skirt tore in half and fell about her feet on the ground, along with about three others.

"Oh no...". The girl exclaimed in her small pitiful voice turning to look apologetically at Marcy who was only smiling as she stood.

"It’s okay dear. We’ll just get another one. Brittany had so many clothes which she isn’t wearing anymore".

Naomi pursed her lips making her look incrediously cute and innocent.

As she grew over the years, her features turned out to be very kind, domicile and angelic just like her nature.

Despite the bruises she had gotten from past bullyings, Her skin was porcelain and shiny. Her eyes were huge and crystal clear blue which always looked like it would tear up any moment. Her nose was petite like her heart shaped lips which was always moist and red like a rippened strawberry.

She was really grateful that Marcy was taking out her time to get her some clothes because she had out grown her old ones.

For someone at 23, she grew curves in indefinite proportions. Though she didn’t eat much and was never the sporty kind, her hips grew excessively wide and broad. Her bottom was roundly shaped and she usually had difficulties pushing them inside most of her skirts.

Her busts were a moderate size compared to her lower curves but they still strained to burst out of the halter top she was putting on.

"We definitely need to get you some new clothes". Marcy noted as she scanned through Brittany’s old wardrobe for another skirt.

There were tulips, pegged skirts, pareos, even a flip skirt but none looked like it’d suit her.

"Oh.. there’s really no need to do that Aunt Marcy. I can get myself some clothes with my pay". Naomi stuttered.

’If I skip most of my medical supplies this month’ She added inwardly but the last thing she wanted was for Marcy to disturb herself in these things.

Her personal things.

She was already the most envied in the mansion ever since Marcy had started taking a liking to her several years back when she saved her life because of that single dream she had, treating her like her own daughter especially when Brittany had gone off to be with her mate some months back.

"Here. Try this one dear". Marcy said, pulling out a tea gown instead.

It looked so beautiful and expensive even.

Noami bit the insides of her cheek, not wanting to see that look on Marcy’s face whenever she rejects her offers but at the same time didn’t want to accept it. It was just too expensive!!!

So she smiled instead and gingerly takes the dress.

"Thank you Aunt Marcy".

She pulled off her top and put on the dress.

Since it was a flare style, it didn’t hug her as tightly as her other gowns did.

Her bottom hitched up the hem of the dress so it barely touched her knees but it was a moderate height compared to the others.

"I think I can do with this. Again, thank you".

"No bother. Just make sure you’re back in time from the mall. We need enough things to bake a cake tonight to celebrate the return of the Alpha".

Naomi pursed her lips, nodding.

She was half excited, half depressed.

She was excited...that her best friend was finally coming home to take his place as the next Alpha. She would finally see him again after all these years.

But the fact remains that she was dead to him and she had to act like she didn’t know him would hurt her as much as it might hurt him. What if the Late Alpha wasn’t bluffing? Could he have forgotten her? Moved on? She was just a common Omega after all.

"...then some milk and I think that’s all we need for the batter". Marcy’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

"I’m sorry Aunt. I wasn’t listening". She said apologetically.

Marcy smiled and patted her shoulders before saying...

"If you feel it’s okay to come out to him, it’s your choice".

Noami shook her head, looking down at her nails.

"It’s okay aunt. You were..um.. saying something earlier". She was quick to divert the topic.

At the sound of the loud car horn, everyone, the Omegas, the workers, Marcy, Gamma Nathan , every occupant of the Alpha’s mansion of course, all poured out to receive their new Alpha.

There were hugs and kisses from Marcy which Daniel returned in the same vibrant life, chuckling when Nathan ruffled his hair. He was a big boy now. A feast to look upon by the younger Omegas who lingered while carrying his things away to the mansion to get a better glimpse of his clearly defined muscles, amazing hot rocky abs which were visibly crafted out his shirt and ripped biceps while the older ones found it hard to believe little Danny had grown so big and handsome.

As the pleasantries continued, no one noticed a beautiful golden brown head walking hastily out of the mansion in a red hood.

Naomi was ready to go shopping despite she was yearning to glance at Daniel even for once. As she hurried along, not too far from the Hatchback , she suddenly tripped and fell.

A sudden gust of breeze swept past his nose and Daniel’s eyes suddenly squinted before popping wide open, his blue eyes glowing with something unfathomable, different shades of blue swirling in his eyes.

A sweet scent of citrus and chocolate liqueur filled his nostrils which flared wide open as he breathed in the sweet unfamiliar scent.

He looked about frantically, attracting the attention of Barton who was by his side.

"What’s wrong Cuz. " He asked.

At that moment, Naomi stood back up, only to notice she was bleeding on her finger. Without bothering to conceal the wound, she began to run away.

The scent was suddenly mixed with a wiff of blood which caused his wolf to finally growl.

"Our mate is hurt and she’s definitely not far either. Find her before you loose her!!!" Kelvin growled at him, his voice filled with excitement, frustration and impatience.

 

Chapter 10

"Are you okay?". Nathan asked as well when they noticed he had frozen in his tracks.

Marcy turned at the Gamma’s voice. Her smile had faded, replaced with a worried look.

"Danny? Is everything alright".

Just as he wanted , the scent faded till he couldn’t get a wiff of her scent again. He managed a smile at them.

"I’m fine. Just.. Taking in the breathtaking view of home. It’s been..so long". He lied.

They all smiled at him and they made their way inside.

Imagining Kelvin as a human, his jaw would have dropped at what just happened.

No one in the history of werewolves had ever been able to control his urges of seeing his mate for the first time when they get a wiff of their scent. But Daniel acted so nonchalantly like whosever she was didn’t exist at all or her scent didn’t drive him crazy.

"Jerk. Keep this up and you’ll only keep hurting. I don’t know how you did it but you won’t be able to resist her the next time".

Daniel only smirked deviously, saying nothing and so, leaving Kelvin to wonder who his mate was. Didn’t she feel the mate bond too? She would have at least done something but she only seemed to go farther away.

Strange...

Barton and Nathan went off to their respective stands while Marcy walked by Daniel’s side till they found themselves standing at the entrance of his room.

"Welcome home ...Alpha". Marcy announced softly with genuine pride in her eyes as she held his arm.

"Thank you Aunt Marcy. It’s ...really nice to be back again". Daniel replied with a slight smile. He glanced around the room and a blast of nostalgia washed over him when he noticed nothing in the room had changed at all.

His favorite toys, especially his blue teddy bear gifted to him by Naomi were still placed on his shelve along with bed time stories Noami usually read to him every night.

The scrawny paintings and drawings he made and pasted all over the wall smiled at him in return, the edges of the paper fading.

Even the footmat Naomi got for him was still here. The sheets have been changed and the blankets were new and soft. The wardrobe was empty waiting to be accomodated by clothes belonging to an eighteen year old and not an eight.

"Do you like it?". Marcy asked, watching his brows spam as a lot emotions swirled inside of him.

Every single thing in this room reminded him of her.

The paintings. Every single drawing and painting, he always showed her and put it up on the wall after getting a peck on the head for his ’good work’.

He remembered the times he would run downstairs to the kitchen. Her hand would be covered in foam as she did the dishes late in the night. But no matter what, she never chased him away or got irritated with how he always dragged her down to look at the drawings. She would embrace him with a smile and a warm hug and would chuckle a bit at his drawings. Either way, she’d compliment it with a kiss on his head.

A painful smile rose up on his lips.

Looking at them now, they really looked so childish and horrible. How could she have liked these things?

The toys. Even if she was tired, she always spent time playing with him. The story books. Every single night she always read him bed night stories. He enjoyed her company 24/7 so he would convince her to stay next to him on the bed till he slept off and boy was he a cuddler.

He sighed and looked down.

Kelvin felt so many emotions swirling inside of him. He could see all his flashbacks from within and his soul fell at what he saw.

Noami was everything. The mother he never had. His best friend. His only friend. The sister he always wanted. She promised she’d be here for him. She promised she’d never leave him. But just like everyone, just like his father, she failed him and abandoned him.

Daniel turned when he felt pressure on his hand. Marcy was squeezing it with a small smile. He managed to smile back.

"It’s going to be alright, okay honey?".

He nodded and placed her hand against his cheek.

"What lotion do you use. Your hand’s so soft aunt". He said In a bid to change the topic and tensed up atmosphere.

Marcy laughed, throwing her face upwards into the bright chandelier in room. Her loud, youthful laughter made him smile.

"When we get shopping for some new clothes, I’ll pick them out for you. That’s since you want your hand to be soft like a woman’s". She chuckled again.

"What’s wrong with my clothes". He whined, the idea of shopping, giving him goosebumps. He hates shopping!!!

"They look like they were rode over by a truck on a muddy ground. You really went off the railings Daniel". With that, she grabbed his ears and pulled him down to her eyes level.

"Ow ow ow ow ow".

"Shush. Who said you could pierce your ear, huh? And look at what you’ve done to your hair....you brat. Honey. When we go shopping together, I’ll make sure I pick out reasonable outfits for you. And we’ll head to a saloon after".

"Aunt Marcy...". He whined when she let go of him.

"No no...the Dark Risers’s Alpha will definitely not be dressing like a criminal and remind me to enroll you in school by this week. Barton said you had one more year to spend in high school but you couldn’t finish because of your training back at Moon Howler’s pack".

Daniel groaned at the mention of school.

"Freshen up and arrange your things... then come downstairs for dinner".

"Okay". He sighed and watched as she left the room.

Once she did, he literally collapsed on his bed with another huge sigh.

He lay down for a while, thinking about his Alpha naming ceremony. For some reason he was nervous. He never had any close relationship with his father so he didn’t know the tips on ruling a pack. He had learnt some crucial lessons and way of solving communal problems and attack of rogues from the Moon Howler’s Alpha but there are still some things , some different measures to take when it came to ruling Dark Risers’s pack.

After a while, he got up, hands on his buttons, ready to hit the shower when a strong nice scent of citrus and chocolate liqueur greeted his nostrils and he suddenly noticed someone standing at the door and looked up.
