She gulped. “You’re giving this to me?” Under the mask, Jack’s dark eyes gleamed earnestly. He said in a cold voice, “If you can’t escape, I hope that it’ll be your final way out.” He pointed the gun at his chest. “Remember this spot and pull the trigger. It only takes one shot.” He knew about her waking up from nightmares every night. He was quiet, but it didn’t mean that he didn’t care.

“If you don’t want to have nightmares, you just have to end it at its source.” Olivia nodded, frightened.
