The maid flinched at the sound of the shutting door only to find her young master was gone.

Tristan sprinted through the hallway and reached their room. He couldn’t believe Ashley refused to eat the food he said, but he also couldn’t blame her. It was his fault in the first place and her refusing anything from him was agreeable.
