“Did you slip?” he asked, looking at me.

“Yeah! It was close!” I looked at his anxious, handsome face and smiled. This man was genuinely attractive; even his nervous expression was charming.

He quickly fetched my nightgown and gently helped me put it on. Still uneasy, he asked, “Should we still go to the hospital just in case?”

“It’s okay, I didn’t fall, just twisted a bit.” I pulled him back to me by grabbing his already upright body. “Let’s check tomorrow, and it’s about time for a prenatal checkup.”

“Are you sure you’re not uncomfortable?” He nervously looked at me and kissed me lightly. “It’s my fault. I won’t let you shower alone next time.”
