Luckily, Dylan grabbed her arm and pulled her back. Poppy pretended to look embarrassed.

With a profound look, Dylan said, “Ms. Poppy, steady yourself!”

Poppy felt uneasy under Dylan’s cold gaze, her mind shaken momentarily. She quickly smiled and said, “I’m sorry! Ms. Chloe, I startled you. My fault for not standing firmly. Sorry.”

Atlas glanced nervously at me and asked, “Are you okay?”
