The other factions suffered even heavier losses. The Quinton siblings passed the trial with ease, yet only three of their dozen guards survived to follow them. Of the Yux family’s seven or eight elite fighters, only a middle-aged man at the mid-stage of the Golden Core realm and two others made it out. The Mosey royal family was also hit hard—although Frost survived, just four of his men remained.

“The Divine Transformation Pill…” Grace murmured. “That’s the Quinton family’s real objective.”

Dustin nodded. “For a reclusive family like the Quintons, ordinary treasures don’t mean much anymore. But the Nascent Soul Pill is different—it can create a Nascent Soul expert. Whoever obtains it will likely gain an overwhelming advantage in the upcoming game.”

Scarlet frowned slightly. “What about us? Should we compete for it too?”

Dustin fell silent for a moment before answering. “We should compete—but the Nascent Soul Pill itself isn’t necessarily our goal.”
