“I don’t think that my marriage has anything to do with our family’s interests. Also…” Nicholas paused on purpose to look at his enraged parents and grandfather. As soon as she heard that, Stefania was at a loss for words and glared at him in fury.
On the other hand, Tobias got his senses back and looked at Nicholas seriously before asking, “You married her because of the baby?”
“No.” Nicholas denied it without a second thought. “I married her because I love her, and I want to give her proper status. It has nothing to do with the baby.”

At last, Nicholas’ mood lifted after hearing Stefania’s words, knowing his parents had decided to meet in the middle.
With that, he nodded. “I’ll make the arrangements.”
Gregory was a sharp one as well, buttering up to his grandparents immediately when he saw that they had softened. “Grandpa, Grandma, can I sleep with you guys tonight?”
