Always Been Yours Chapter 1501-Fortunately, it did not take long before she composed herself once more. Although there was no wedding ceremony to celebrate her marriage to Nicholas, they lived a happy and blissful life together.

A short while later, they decided to return to their respective homes after finally choosing the wedding dresses.

Sabrina watched Tessa climb into the car and leave the premises. However, she did not leave immediately. Instead, once she was confident that Tessa was out of sight, she whisked out her phone from her bag and sent the photos she secretly took earlier to Nicholas.

"Nicholas, I've accomplished the task you gave me. Tess chose this wedding dress."

When Nicholas received the message, he was handling some documents in the office. He glanced at his phone screen, admiring the picture of his pure and lovely wife in a wedding dress. The look in his eyes was so gentle that a person could drown in them.

When Tessa returned home, Andrew immediately approached her as soon as she climbed out of the car. "Young Madam, the housekeeper who works for Old Mrs. Reinhart is here."

"Did she state the reason for her visit?" Tessa asked with a frown.

He shook his head. "I asked, but she did not say. She only told me that she would wait for your return."

When she heard that, she entered the living room with a slight frown.

Inside the living room, the housekeeper immediately stood up from the couch when she saw Tessa enter the room. She nervously called out, "Madam Tessa."

"What's the reason for your visit?" Tessa queried and took a seat on the couch.

The housekeeper answered honestly, "I came here to deliver some gifts under Old Mrs. Reinhart's orders."

The housekeeper didn’t wait for Tessa’s response before she started carrying several gift boxes beside her and placing them on the coffee table in front of Tessa.

"Old Mrs. Reinhart heard that President Reinhart will be getting married in a month, so she specially prepared a wedding gift for him. As for this gold locket and necklace, she heard that you've gotten pregnant again. She told me that the necklace is for the baby to wear once the baby is born."

She explained the presents on the table in sequence. Throughout her speech, she constantly shot anxious glances at Tessa. She was well aware that Tessa and Timothy were estranged from Amber due to certain events in the past and was rightfully afraid that these presents would be harshly rejected.

She gulped nervously and took a deep breath. Then, when she saw that Tessa wasn’t saying anything after waiting for several seconds, she mustered her courage and continued speaking, "By the way, Madam Tessa, Old Mrs. Reinhart also has a message for you. She understands that you and President Reinhart do not like her. Therefore, to prevent the joyous mood from being ruined, she will not be attending President Reinhart's wedding. Therefore, you and President Reinhart do not need to worry about her attendance."

After she listened to the housekeeper, Tessa remained silent for some time before calmly saying, "Okay. You may return now."

Then, she gestured for Andrew to send the housekeeper away.

Tessa was the only person left in the living room. She stared at the presents on the table and was flooded with a complicated feeling.

Later in the evening, Nicholas immediately noticed the gifts on the table when he came home from work. He questioned, "What are these?"

"These are wedding gifts for Timothy from Old Mrs. Reinhart. As for the gold locket and necklace, that's a gift for the baby," Tessa explained honestly without hiding anything.

Nicholas nodded and noticed that she was in low spirits. He quickly understood that her emotions were influenced by her estrangement from her grandmother.

"If you don't like them, you can just send them back," he suggested gently. Then, he walked over and pulled her into his embrace.

She leaned her head against the crook of his shoulder and shook her head slightly. "Forget it. Just leave them there. If I send them back, they'll just be returned to me again the next day."

That was the truth. Over the past two years, Amber often sent gifts to Gordon. She also occasionally sent some gifts to Tessa, as though she was trying to atone for her past mistakes.

In the beginning, Tessa refused to accept the gifts and sent them back to Amber unopened. Yet, the gifts that were sent back were placed in front of the door again the next day.

Tessa pondered for some time. In the end, she felt that his suggestion was reasonable and nodded in agreement.

They chatted until Gregory returned home from school. Then, the entire family shared a warm dinner.

An hour later, Gregory finally finished his homework and pestered Tessa to provide fetal education to the baby in her stomach.

Tessa observed her high-spirited son, rendered somewhat speechless at his intensity.

The baby was only a month old at this point, so it was not time to provide the baby with fetal education yet.

Unfortunately, Gregory didn't know any of that. He only knew that the baby was his future sibling. So, he looked at her expectantly. "Mommy, what should I do for my little sister? Should I read her a book? Or play the violin for her?"

Before Tessa had time to respond, Gordon interjected, scrunching his adorable nose, "Read a book. The violin makes me sleepy." Combined with his delicate facial features, he looked absolutely adorable.

Tessa was mesmerized by his cute appearance. But, at the same time, she was amused by his reaction.

For some reason, he had absolutely no talent in music. In fact, just listening to music made him sleepy.

Immersed in her thoughts, she ruffled his hair affectionately and gently agreed, "Alright. Let's read to the baby."

Gordon was delighted. He quickly went and chose one of his favorite story books, and then he stuffed the book into Gregory's hands.

"Read it, Greg."

Gregory did not refuse. Then, he flipped the book open and started reading the story.

Over the past two years, he had grown and developed significantly. His voice had also changed from a toddler's baby voice to become crisp and powerful.

After they finished reading the short story, Tessa glanced at the time and discovered that it had gotten relatively late.

She firmly declared, "Alright, let's stop here for today. We can continue tomorrow."

Although Gregory looked like he wanted to continue, he obediently nodded and smiled sweetly at her stomach. "Little sister, you have to remember my voice. I am your elder brother, Greg. I will read you another story tomorrow."

She had kept the child a secret from Nicholas for all these years. As a result, she had been feeling immensely guilty whenever she thought about the child over the recent years.

A few minutes later, she came to a decision and walked toward the study with a determined expression.

Since he was home, he was dressed in casual wear as he sat at his desk in the study. Every movement he made seemed languid and graceful. In addition, his dignified poise gave him an indescribable sense of nobility.

When Tessa entered the study, she was momentarily fascinated by the elegant scenery that entered her eyes.

On the other hand, Nicholas looked up when he heard the door open. His cold and hard expression instantly melted to become as gentle as water.

"Why did you come here? Are Gregory and Gordon asleep?" he asked, beckoning for her to come closer.

She snapped back to her senses and instinctively walked over to him.

He stretched his arms and pulled her into his embrace. Then, he abruptly realized that she was not in a good mood. "What's wrong?"

He quietly observed her reaction, tightened his arms around her, and asked in a deep voice, "Do you remember when you asked me about Greg's mother?"

She was caught off guard by his sudden question and glanced at him in confusion. She was puzzled as to why he suddenly mentioned the topic now. After all, they were talking about her child, not Gregory.

His deep and low voice sounded in her ears once more, "At the time, I thought that the timing was wrong and decided to conceal the truth from you. The truth is that… Greg is actually that child."

As soon as the words left his mouth, she froze in shock. His words endlessly echoed around her head.

When she heard his response, the look in her eyes became very complicated.

"If you knew, then why didn't you tell me?" She shot a questioning look at him.

He answered her question honestly, "I wanted to tell you immediately when I first learned the truth. But you were working so hard for your dreams at the time. I thought that you might give up on chasing your dreams wholeheartedly if you knew that Greg was that child. If I did that to you, it would feel as though I was using our child to restrict your freedom. He did not mind. Instead, he lovingly wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes. "Don't cry."

"Although you were acting with my best interests at heart, you should have told me about something so important sooner," She glared at the man in front of her and expressed her dissatisfaction.

At the sight of his annoyed wife, he immediately confessed to his mistake with an honest attitude to comfort her." You're right. I failed to consider my options carefully."

A short while later, she relented to his coaxing and asked, "Does Greg know?"

"Not yet. But, I will look for a suitable opportunity to explain the situation to him now that you know the truth," He voiced his thoughts clearly.

She nodded in agreement. Then, a random thought seemed to occur to her. Her expression became somewhat worried as a result." Do you think Greg will be able to accept the truth?"

"Why wouldn't he?" He countered her question with another question.

She pursed her lips and pondered for a moment but could not find the right words to explain her doubt. It was just a feeling that she had.

He saw through her concerns. Thus, he hugged her tightly and cajoled her. "Greg loves you. He might be surprised to learn the truth at first, but I'm sure he won't have trouble accepting it."

That's right. Greg adores. He might even be happier to learn that I am his biological mother. But what if... She did not dare to bet on the possibility.

Gregory nodded before turning around and dashing into the school.

Tessa watched his back until he disappeared before telling the driver to send her home.

Unexpectedly, as soon as she entered the living room, she saw her parents-in-law sitting on the couch, playing with Gordon.

"Mom, Dad, what are you doing here?' She greeted them with a smile and walked over.

Stefania and Tobias did not respond immediately but instead instructed Andrew to take Gordon away.

There were already a lot of cars waiting outside when they arrived at the school. When the last bell rang, students started coming out of their classrooms, then they made their way to the school entrance. Tessa was standing at the roadside, holding Gordon's hand. She searched for Gregory among the crowd, and a moment later, he hurried over to them. "Mommy, Gordon," he called them happily and came up to them.

Gordon broke free of Tessa's grasp and held Gregory's hand. "I've been a good boy today. When we go back, I want to play with your robot."

"Sure thing. We'll do that when we get back." Gregory nodded and told Tessa to quickly get in the car.

After getting into the car, Gregory pulled Gordon over and whispered something in his ear.

Thinking about her son's concerns, she couldn't help feeling warm and tingly inside.

That evening, the entire family gathered in the living room after enjoying a harmonious dinner together.

Thinking that the timing was right, Tessa dismissed the servants around them and turned to look at Gregory with a gentle gaze.

"Greg, there's something I need to tell you."

Gregory was an intelligent child, so he immediately guessed what she wanted to tell him.

"I don't want to listen. Don't tell me about that woman, Mommy! She's a bad woman!" He covered his ears and refused to participate in the conversation.

Seeing that, she quickly stepped forward and crouched down in front of him.

"Greg, you're mistaken. There is no such woman," she comforted him gently.

He glanced at her suspiciously. "Really?"

"It's true. When have I ever lied to you?" Tessa nodded vigorously.

Only then did he believe her words and remove his hands from his ears. "Then, what did you want to tell me?"

"I wanted to tell you that I'm actually your biological mother." After revealing the truth, Tessa looked at Gregory nervously.

She nodded again and continued staring at him anxiously.

Before Tessa could answer, Gregory excitedly rushed over. "Uncle Tim, I just learned that you are my uncle! Just like Gordon, we are close relatives!"

"What are you saying? Since when have we not been close relatives?" Timothy looked at Gregory in amusement, but he immediately realized that something was not quite right.
