Fourteenth Heaven — The Temple

The majestic temple floated high in the sky, supported by 9,999 white jade pillars. Each pillar was carved with lifelike mythical beasts, so vivid they seemed ready to leap into motion.

Auspicious clouds swirled around the structure. Cranes glided through the air. From time to time, golden-armored gods patrolled the perimeter, their presence solemn and imposing.

Inside the main hall, the atmosphere was heavy.
