His tone turned lighter. “We’d probably still be wandering these hills like headless chickens, with no clue where to find the Celestial Basilica.”

The image cracked the tension. Grace let out a quick laugh, the heaviness in her eyes easing.

Luther chuckled. “Mr. Chance is right. Miss Grace, don’t worry about the elixir. We’ll earn what we need.”

Grace inclined her head. “Via is willing to follow Benefactor to Cloudhaven City and explain the region along the way.”
