After leaving Jade Immortal Manor, Jared and Luther suppressed their auras and sped toward Coldabyss City in the northern region.

They moved with blistering speed. In just a few days, the massive, snow-draped city rose before them once again.

Coldabyss City looked unchanged. Its black-green walls of ancient ice shimmered under the sun, and the gates stood lined with guards.

This time, however, no one stopped them. Master Coldabyss had clearly given advance orders.

They flew straight over the streets and descended toward the City Lord’s Residence.

The gate guards not only refrained from blocking them—they bowed in silent respect, another sign of the city lord’s instructions.

Guided by a servant, Jared and Luther were led deep into a secluded chamber within the residence.
