“Hahaha! Fire Spirit Lord, you’re finished!”
The Fire Demon Lord’s laughter echoed through the shattered valley. Though his body was battered and bloodied, his eyes blazed with manic excitement.

Fire Spirit Lord wiped the blood from his mouth and said coldly,
“Don’t get ahead of yourself. You’re just as wounded as I am. Our strength is nearly equal—neither of us can defeat the other.”

“Is that so?” The Fire Demon Lord sneered. “That’s not necessarily true. I still have one last card to play.”

He reached into his storage ring and pulled out a strange black token. The token was engraved with a skull, its hollow eyes burning with dark red flames that flickered with eerie life.

Fire Spirit Lord’s expression shifted. “What is that?”

The Fire Demon Lord’s grin widened. “This,” he said proudly, “is the Soul Devouring Order, a treasure I obtained in the Flame Prison. With it, I can multiply my power severalfold!”

As he spoke, he raised the token above his head, chanting in a low, guttural voice.
