The young boy grabbed onto the hem of Jared’s shirt in fear. Clearly, the two of them were at a huge disadvantage going against dozens of people.

“Just so you guys know, you brought this upon yourselves…” Murderous intent swirled in Jared’s ice-cold gaze as he tightened his grip on his sword.
